We’re looking for a great Senior iOS Engineer to come join our team.  At Ancestry, we build native apps that are used by millions of people every day, so your work will have a big impact.  We build our apps in Swift, and are using some of the latest technologies, like SwiftUI, and KMM to share business logic between mobile platforms.  We are working on some awesome app and feature transformations right now and the mobile app teams are leading out on these initiatives.  This is a great time to come join the team and help us make it all happen.  You can work remotely if you want, or come join a great group of engineers who come into the offices a few days a week.


Who You Are:


Experience developing native iOS applications in Swift (knowledge of SwiftUI is a huge plus!)Enjoy keeping up with the news and changes in the iOS/Swift community. Will help drive the direction of our mobile architecture by applying best practices for iOS development that you learn from your peersAbility to breakdown complex requirements into components / deliverable milestonesInterested in end-to-end feature development from design to executionFamiliar with agile or other rapid application development methodsHave a disciplined approach to development including QA, Design Patterns and CI/CDWilling to learn from and mentor other team members.  Will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers and others


Bonus Points For:


Experience with SwiftUI, Experience with KMM development, Experience with API development, Experience with Node/GraphQL, Experience with mobile CI/CD approaches and tool chains, Experience writing unit/integration tests for iOS apps. And a good sense of humor!
