As an Engineer at Summus, you will help drive the expansion of a transformational way to access expertise in specialty medicine globally. A background in healthcare is not required, but a desire to be part of our mission and excitement to innovate how specialty healthcare is delivered are essential. The Summus platform runs the gamut of technologies: video, SMS and telephony, payments, automated scheduling, medical imaging, and many more. We’re looking for an engineer who is motivated by learning new skills and improving the experience of our users.

Responsibilities:

• Build new mobile product features from start to finish: through conception and collaboration with our entire team, implementation and testing, polish, and maintenance.


• Build every facet of a feature, from wireframe UI/UX design and implementation to creation of the backend APIs to support that feature.


• Building scalable and sustainable backend APIs to support multiple versions of a released app.


• Publishing new versions of the application on the App Store.


• Build improvements to performance, reliability, and existing product polish.


• Build improvements to the iOS development and release workflows, including automated testing and continuous integration.


• Help clients and teammates solve challenges by sharing your product and technical expertise.
